Gareth Turner aka DejaQ has a long standing love & passion for electronic music from being a young boy buying his first vinyls & having his mind blown by the Human League’s Being Boiled, Kraftrwerk’s Tour Da France & Autobahn along with the likes of Street Sounds Electro Compilation albums, Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Yello & Vangelis.
After discovering the acid house scene in the late 1980’s & finding a home at the famous Legends nightclub in Warrington where his friends were DJ’ing the back room, he caught the bug himself & picked up his first set of decks in 1991 & went on to play at numerous pubs & clubs in the North West before hanging up the headphones in 2004.
After picking up the baton again in 2018, DejaQ has been a regular playing progressive, organic & deep house aswell as melodic house & techno on various online radio stations along with playing at a number of venues in East Lancashire, Dundee Dance Event, ArtBar, Dundee & gigs in Manchester.
